Richard Duncombe was born in London in 1982 and lived in Chelmsford, Essex from his birth.
Richard first started taking photos of city life in London and New York in 2004 before covering southern Africa and was a semi finalist in the BBC World wildlife photographer of the year competition in 2009.
In 2010 he made the decision to move permanently from the UK and is currently in the process of returning to Africa.
In this collection he presents lost images from his time growing up abroad or in the UK through to modern times in an effort to show life and art in otherwise broken or discarded objects and memories
